This Olde Housewalk Purchase Tickets
The Cathedral Area Preservation Association of Joliet, IL has announced the 2010 “This Olde Housewalk” set for Sunday, September 12, 2010. This year, there are six featured properties. CAPA is fortunate to showcase three Tudor homes, a sprawling Bungalow, The P. Seth Magosky Museum of Victorian Life and Joliet History (formerly known as the Scutt Mansion) and the magnificent All Saints Greek Orthodox Church.
Tickets are available at a discounted price of $16 before the event or $18 on the day of the event. Tickets are available online by clicking here to use PayPal. To purchase tickets by check or money order, mail payment to CAPA, P.O. Box 3662, Joliet, IL, 60434 or call (815) 726-4163. All tickets purchased in advance can be picked up at the Will Call at Preservation Park (Wilcox and Taylor) on the day of the Housewalk.
Once again, porch lunches hosted by some of CAPA’s most beautiful homes, are available for $12.50 per person. Orders must be placed by September 7th. Lunches must be purchased in advance via mail or website to allow for space accommodation. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends and neighbors within the neighborhood.
This year will prove to be a fantastic showcase of many of the beautiful properties that call Joliet home. Plan now to participate in this annual event allowing hundreds of visitors to view amazing architecture, interior design and history.
