Earlier this week at our monthly CAPA meeting, we presented $1,000 scholarship awards to two neighborhood students as they pursue a higher education. The checks were presented to Ava Wendel and Alexis Samuels by the CAPA board, Mayor O’Dekirk, Councilman Mudron and CAPA’s Scholarship & Grants Director, Andrew Chemers. We wish Ava and Alexis the best of luck as they go off to college!
