Like most things in 2020 that were a bit different than we are used to, the Cathedral area Holiday Home recognition event was no exception. We would like to thank everyone that nominated the homes of their friends and neighbors for bringing out the holiday cheer. Cheer that we all needed. Like in past years, the homes were all beautiful and full of holiday spirit. After review of the nearly two dozen homes nominated, the top three were chosen as favorites. In no particular order, here are the top three.

The Cathedral Area Preservation Association (CAPA) of Joliet, is a not
for profit neighborhood organization dedicated to preserving, maintaining
and promoting the Cathedral Area. CAPA strives to develop a prosperous
community though historic preservation education and promotion of respect
for old homes.
