Finally! Every other year, CAPA coordinates with some homeowners to organize a ticketed tour of some the the area homes. This even has been on hold because of the pandemic. Now it is back and better than ever as the Housewalk Speakeasy. What is it? Essentially it’s the Housewalk but with an optional signature cocktail at each home along with a speakeasy party tent. The tours are at your own leisure from 12-5. After 5, the tent will be fully active until 10:30pm.
There are two ticket options. The traditional ticket for touring the homes is option one. The other option, the speakeasy option, entitles you to the signature drink of the home.
Both tickets allow access to the speakeasy tent, that will showcase games, music and food(Mo Joe’s of Plainfield), and a cash bar(ID required at bar). This opens at 3 and goes to 10:30 with live music after 5.
If you cannot make the tour but just want to meet friends at the tent, no problem. Stop on by!
